Run Singapore 2009 : It was a charity run for the president's challenge fund. Tyco (where I work), sponsored us to join the run. The race route was the Marina Bay Street Circuit which the F1 race use. I was late as usual(because I came from a yoga class) but I was still able to run, just a few minutes behind. It wasn't a formal run, so they didn't close all roads and sometimes we had to wait for the traffic police to let us cross the street. It was a fun run, entire families running with strollers, students cheering and dancing, and some serious runners as well.

hello kitty lantern festival : after surviving his first hot yoga session, we've decided to celebrate and check out the lantern festival in chinese gardens. the theme was hello kitty and friends races and we loved it! they got lion dances, acrobat stunts and fireworks to top the night but unfortunately for us, no ice cream anywhere in the park. the festival was a lot of fun and was worth the 15sgd entrance, it only runs until september 28 so if you're a hello kitty fan - better head to chinese gardens soon :)

Ski 360 @ east coast park : one sunny saturday morning with miko, raycee and alan. our first time to try cable skiing - we tried kneeboarding first(a bit bumpy sometimes but relatively easy after a few tries). we noticed only kids and old people and us were using the kneeboards hehe so later on we shifted to skis. double ski was more complicated and i fell more than 5 times and then i gave up. and also because our 2 hour pass was up. as expected, raycee got himself a bloody knee(and he got a free 30-minute weekend pass because of it!).

pulau ubin : biking at pulau ubin with cath, anet, roy and denden. it was blazing hot for the first half of the day and then heavy rain poured on us later. we weren't able to cover much ground - not with roy and denden's tandem bike in tow. so next project is to teach denden how to bike. still was a great day to just hang out with friends :)

christmas party sa junk boat : Eto ang ilang pictures namin nung nakaraang team christmas party. Ginanap ang party namin sa isang junk boat, isa itong replica ng sikat na Ming Dynasty imperial vessel - Chang Ho. Mga 10 minuto pa lang umaandar ang barko ng ma-empty bat ang camera ko. Haay. Siguro 10% lang ang pinoy sa team namin, halos lahat ay mga indians na. Pero nakakatuwa kase nagdala rin sila ng mga regalo pang exhange gift kahit di naman talaga nila sineselebreyt ang pasko. Tapos kaming mga pinoy, nangaroling ng mga kantang pamasko.
